Some things you should know

A 2023 study shows that over 2000 people in Baltimore & over 6000 people in the state of Maryland are without homes on any given night.

There are approximately 60 shelters in Baltimore for people experiencing homelessness.

Because shelters provide temporary housing for those experiencing homelessness, blankets are a top request and are often in short supply. As a result people staying in the shelters are often sleeping without the warmth of a blanket.

Lack of affordable housing, low incomes, and limited access to comprehensive services are primary causes of homelessness.
